Q: What are we about?
A: The name pretty much sums it up. We basically jog and/or run for a cause, such as diabetes, cancer, etc.
Q: Do I have to run?
A: No, of course not. Just participating alone is highly appreciated. On the other hand, it is highly recommended that you attempt to jog.
Q: What’s in it for me?
A: Well, by running you are donating to a cause or charity. And if that alone isn’t enough motivation, then there are other things that might change your mind. Depending on the race, each participant will get an award. (At some events, only the top 3 in each age group receive a medal.) Furthermore, everyone gets a t-shirt, complimentary food, and S W A G B A G S. These bags are filled with prizes, coupons, tickets for free food, etc. Plus, there are a lot of booths that give out free things.
Q: Who’s the adviser?
A. Mrs. Jordan!
Q: When are the meetings and training sessions?
A: The meetings are every Tuesday at 7: 15 in Mrs. Jordan’s room! The training sessions are normally held every other week, but they are mainly decided at the meetings.
Q: Does it cost money to participate?
A: Normally, it ranges from about 20 - 40 dollars, but with fund raising, we hope to only pay a little amount. We sell Rice Krispies and have sponsors, so usually the prices aren’t that high.
